A partnership between a Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Shakespeare’s Schoolroom Trust has brought about the initiative which will connect the fascinating story of Shakespeare’s formative years.
Just a short walk lies between Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall; a journey that, like visitors today, young William himself would once have taken.
The Shakespeare Birthplace and Schoolroom Joint Ticket is available to purchase at both Shakespeare’s Birthplace on Henley Street and Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall on Church Street - adult £25, child £16 and family £65, with the ticket income supporting both organisations. The initiative initially runs until late March.Buy Tickets
Summer craft activity: decorate a bird from Shakespeare
The Easter Bunny is inviting you to hop over to Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall for some Family Friendly fun and to enjoy an Easter Trail with a Shakespearian twist.
Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall in Stratford-upon-Avon is about to light up the dark evenings with the lantern of Jeremiah Pinchbeck, a character from the 18th century with a tale or two to tell. Once the caretaker of this magnificent building, Jeremiah will guide visitors down the ancient halls rekindling stories from the past, some of which may set your spine tingling.
