Pre-Theatre or Post-dinner Exclusive Tours. 

Embark on a guided journey through our renowned Schoolroom & Guildhall, led by knowledgeable guides who will transport you back in time. As a special treat, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a Tudor School Lesson with our esteemed historic interpreter, Master Jenkins. Sip on a glass of locally produced mead, or Prosecco as you delve deeper into the world of the famous playwright. Your group will delight in having this magical place all to themselves.

Hire a guest speaker

For conferences or events that crave an extra touch of historical authenticity, hiring one of our incredible guides is the perfect choice. Our team is enthusiastic about bringing the spirit of Shakespeare and the Tudor era to your gathering and they will share their knowledge and research with your audience. We are happy to travel to your event location, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for your guests.

Afterwards, our historic interpreter, Master Jenkins, can provide your clients with their very own Tudor School Lesson, delivering an immersive educational experience that will leave them captivated.

For a Speaker to come to your event we charge £50, plus travel expenses.Our constumed historic interpreter, Master Jenkins, can be added for a further £100 plus travel expenses.

The Speaker will deliver a talk which will range from 40 - 60mins, dependant on the requested subject matter.

Photography and Filming

Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall provides an ideal, atmospheric, authentic location for photography, film, and TV shoots. By appointment and subject to availability, we welcome film, television, photography, and advertising crews to experience and capture the beauty, culture, and atmosphere of our venue. Our stunning and historic architecture provides the perffect backdrop for period shoots.

We have various rates to fit your activity. These will be dependant on catering requirements and closure of the schoolroom or movement of scheduled lessons. Please enquire with details of your shoot.
