The schoolroom where William Shakespeare was educated and the Guildhall where he first experienced live theatre will be opening to the public for the first time on Saturday 23 April 2016, exactly 400 years after his death.

On Saturday 23 April students from King Edward VI School (K.E.S.) in Stratford-upon-Avon will celebrate the birthday of former student William Shakespeare as they have done since 1893.
King Edward VI School, Stratford-upon-Avon is set to become one of the country’s prime destinations for Shakespeare lovers when it opens its doors to the public on 23 April 2016.
