By car

Stratford-upon-Avon is a short drive from Junction 15 on the M40, with access to the M42, M5, M6 and M25.

Accessible parking

Parking is free for blue badge holders in all District Council car parks. Designated easy-access parking bays are available in each car park, but if they are full then you may park in any other bay.

There are 10 accessible parking spaces on Chapel Lane (opposite the Royal Shakespeare Company's Swan Theatre). This is a 3-minute walk from Shakespeare's Schoolroom & Guildhall.

Park and ride

A Park and Ride Service operates in Stratford-upon-Avon from Monday to Saturday. Park and Ride buses run from 7.40am, and the last bus leaves Bridge Street at 7.05pm. On bank holidays, the service runs from 10am until 7.30pm, with the last bus leaving Bridge Street at 7pm.

By train

Travel to Stratford-upon-Avon from Birmingham (Snow Hill or Moor Street stations). Trains from London travel from Marylebone station via Banbury, Leamington Spa and Warwick.
